"Welcome to our home, business, and lifestyle. I’m Jess! A few of you may know my family and I as the brand The Painted Buffalo. But when you get to know us we are really just Jess + The zoo.. My kiddos and I live in our self converted school bus... the second one actually, with a couple of dogs, a cat and some lepord geckos. We have traveled over 70 thousand miles and have collected hundreds of thousands of memories, friendships, and adventures. We have evolved and grew from this journey, individually and as a family, and want to inspire you all to create your own!
 
This booklet is a little peak into the last 5 years of evolving, building, traveling and learning. Please take the suggestions, layouts, and ideas not as concrete fact but just a lauching point for your own amzing creativity, imagination, and hopefuly... your own beautiful build.  "
 
In this guide you will find tips and tricks for building, traveling, and everything in between from Painted Buffalo 1.o and 2.o. Chapters included but not limited to Where we started, Bus build 1 + 2 basic materials + tools rundown, Exterior /Interior layouts and design, Materials and Tools used,  Solar and electrical builds, including roof deck components, heating and cooling ideas, and where to find appliances. We will be talking a little about non-profit work on the road, including ours, tips and tricks for parking, plug in, water fill ups and anything else we could think of that could help on your journey!
